Street Chaser is a running game about chasing a gang of thieves through city streets. The story begins after the player鈥檚 companion is robbed, and the main objective is to catch the criminals and recover the stolen handbag. Instead of a long narrative campaign, the game uses this situation as the reason for a series of chases and missions. The player moves automatically forward while avoiding obstacles, collecting useful objects, and trying to reduce the distance between the character and the escaping robber.
Catching Thieves Through the City
During a chase, players must react quickly to objects and barriers appearing on the street. The character can jump over some obstacles and slide under others. Bottles and balls found along the route can be used to hit the robber ahead, helping the player catch them before the chase ends. The game includes a gang of ten robbers, so the chase continues through multiple encounters rather than ending after a single criminal is caught.
Missions Beyond the Main Chase
Street Chaser also contains hundreds of missions with different objectives. These act as separate challenges rather than traditional story levels. Players progress through a street map by completing tasks such as:
路 chasing a runner;
路 throwing bottles at targets;
路 kicking balls;
路 collecting coins;
路 gathering required items;
路 finding words;
路 retrieving objects and bringing them back.
These missions change the immediate goal while keeping the same running and obstacle-avoidance controls. Coins earned during play can be used for boosts, while daily challenges provide additional rewards such as coins, lives, and wheel spins.
Endless Runs and Multiplayer Races
The game also includes an endless runner mode in which players continue chasing robbers one after another while collecting coins and using boosts. Multiplayer provides another type of challenge, allowing up to eight players to compete in online running missions. Rewards depend on the player鈥檚 position at the end of the competition, giving the same running mechanics a competitive objective.
To play effectively, players need to watch the road ahead, switch lanes when necessary, jump or slide at the correct time, and collect throwable objects whenever they appear. Choosing a route that avoids collisions is important because obstacles slow the chase and make it harder to reach the thief. Street Chaser combines mission-based progression, endless running, robber chases, collectible rewards, boosts, and online competition around the same basic goal of moving quickly through the streets without being stopped.
